Are you looking for a job for your dog? Do you want to them to use their mind and their body? Are you interested in getting involved in a super fun activity? Then you need to try Treibball! No herding instinct is needed to play this game and ALL dogs would benefit from playing. Similar to billiards, Treibball is an activity that can help better improve the communication and bond between dog and handler while working out fun and engaging puzzles. (and no herding instinct needed!). This course will go through how to build up the key foundation skills necessary to ensure both you and your dog are successful and avoid all the common pitfalls people may fall into otherwise!

Course Details

In this 6-week course, you will learn the most important foundation skills for Treibball. These include finding and building balance, introducing the ball, building distance and introducing direction cues. Treibball is fabulous for many reasons, but especially for the way it will stretch your dog mentally and build your communication. Remember the old saying, "A tired dog is a good dog". What You Need For This Course

  • your dog

  • flat or martingale collar

  • back-clip harness (optional)

  • 10'-15' long line

  • LOTS of high-value and smelly treats

  • minimum of 2 toys your dog really enjoys

  • weighted fitness ball either 55cm or 65cm
